fixing the ugly

poster paint, cotton buds, masking tape, a paintbrush and a hardcover moleskine. i ruined the front cover by writing on it with my gold and silver calligraphy pens which, even though they were those paint kinds, they didn't write well on the hardcover. not to mention, they look terrible on black. TERRIBLE. so i did this. if you don't want the watercolour-y bleeding from the paint, then make sure the paint isn't watery. like, make sure it's thick and stuff. such instructions, much clear. if it does bleed anyway, remove it with alcohol-based liquids like nail polish wemover. i just typed in 'wemover' wow i meant remover.

  1. Ha! Love what you did with the cover. Mine was just dirty so I wrote a quote with some white paint over it, and it turned out pretty nice. x
